I get asked a lot of times about how I make my web pages that they get such good rankings. I never make a page just for the sake of the search engines, I make all my current pages for users. (Yes I was guilty of making pages for search engines only at one time.)

Making pages for a search engine to read is so dead now that it doesn't make sense to waste your time doing it. Trust me I have a ton of pages out there that are duplicate content that it's not funny. Guess what it also hurts your earnings to have these pages up, but thats for another post.

While I never make a page the same with the same structure there is some basics that should be covered. These pages are made into three parts. H1 H2 and H3 Below is an example of a page that I made as a demo

--------

Save Money By Cutting Back With A New Spending Plan This is my H1 header tag - it should describe what the article is all about so the user knows whether or not to read on.

At first it may seem hard to limit your spending and sticking to a budget, however there are a few practical changes that you can make everyday that will cut your spending more than you expect. Think of it this way, even if you saved $2 a day you would almost have enough for a mortgage payment at the end of the year.  ($2 x 365 = $730) Now think what you can save if you quit smoking.

First thing you have to do is alter your credit card spending behavior.  Start to pay cash whenever possible, or you can start using a debit card instead.  This will help you avoid making a purchase unless you actually have the money available. If you decide to make a credit card purchase, be prepared to pay the balance off monthly.  This will save a lot of money through avoiding interest charges. If you already have a credit card balance, then transfer to a card with a low interest rate.  Also, find a card that does not charge an annual fee. I would like to forget about credit cards altogether. Lets do cash for a while and see what happens.

Cutting Back Your Spending Budget Goes A Long Way - My H2 tag which explains more on the subject of how to save money

If you eat breakfast and lunch near the job everyday you are spending a lot of money that doesn't have to be spent. Breakfast alone is expensive to eat out and then you have lunch out also. You are wasting all your money on these two meals. If you were to have breakfast at home and not go to the coffee shop in the morning you can save $5.

Another good tip is to pack your lunch everyday. All of those lunch hours spent at restaurants will add up. Bringing your own lunch can save you several dollars every day, which will add up over time. Lets say you spend $7 for lunch. If you ad that up with breakfast for 5 days that is $60 on food that you can make for 1/8 th of the price and you can make healthier choices also. Take that $60 and times it by 4 weeks and that is $240 a month just by eating at home and packing a lunch.

You can do more savings by looking at your cell phone plan. Do you really need a million minutes to your calling plan? If you can cut back on your cell phone usage and cut back to a better plan you can save money. Some people will spend a couple hundred dollars a month on cell phone charges and then have no money for bills.  Avoid this by making most calls during off peak times when cell phone rates are normally free. You may be surprised but you can check with your cell phone service plan to find out if you can get a better deal. I use my cell phone for long distance calls and not my home phone since my long distance charges are free on the cell phone.

You Have To Have A Debt Plan    - My H3 tag here is for my conclusion and sum up of the article and usually where to find more info on the subject

There is no way to get out of the dreaded debt club without having a spending plan. One thing that you can do is stop throwing away the Sunday newspaper it is filled with coupons. Clip some of those coupons and check out the sales that are happening. This may seem to be time consuming, but the savings are often worth it.  Many supermarkets will double or even triple the amount of the coupon.  Some stores will even match other stores coupons. You can even get a neighbor or two doing this and you can swap coupons with them. This technique can save you up to $20 or $30 dollars each time you head to the store for food and even toilet paper.

Maybe it is time to refinance? Mortgage rates have been extremely low over the past year. This has been a great opportunity to reduce your monthly house payment significantly.  If you are planning to have your house paid off prior to retirement, then you may want to factor this in before refinancing.

Finally, bundle your insurance together. Many insurance companies will offer their customers lower rates if they purchase multiple policies.  For instance, some people use the same agent for multiple cars, and others combine their cars and house.  Always keep in mind that a dollar here and there really begins to add up.  Avoid the temptation of thinking that changing your spending habits wouldn't save that much money.

--------------

Now if this was a dreaded keyword based article like what I had been doing online for years it would of had the "Keyword" in the H1, H2 and H3 tags and you know what the search engines would pick up on this and not rank the page at all.

Instead we have an article that complies with my system (Which I call PMS) Problem Make Solution.

This article would be listed for many keywords because it contains helpful advice, It covers a few things that people in debt might type into a search engine. Just look at the combination of words that people will use if you combine the H tags
Save Money By Cutting Back With A New Spending Plan
Cutting Back Your Spending Budget Goes A Long Way
You Have To Have A Debt Plan

I look at this and see terms like "money budget plan" "save money plan" "debt budget" believe it or not this is what people type into a search engine.
