Using Aweber and Twitter

by Nyfalcon on November 13, 2008

You guys know there is already not enough time in the day. I have to thank the fine folks over at Aweber for saving me a lot of time. I am a big fan of automation since it is a big time saver and it is apparent that Aweber has found a way to make all our life’s a little bit easier.

While I hate to give up one of my secrets I am forced to but if it makes your life easier it is worth it. This blog post also serves as my newsletter. Using Awebers blog broadcast feature, every time I blog it also sends out the post in an email to everyone that has subscribed to my newsletter. Now that really isn’t a big secret among top affiliate marketers but it was one I was hesitant to talk about. (it may even get me uninvited to parties)

Now Aweber has stepped up the game and added something that is called “Syndicate” which allows you to make an rss feed out of your blog post and right below that feature is a place to send out a message using twitter to everyone that follows you on Twitter.

You have to give Aweber your Twitter user name and password but that is not a big deal. The benefits of this are huge drivers of traffic back to your website.

It takes a whole three minutes to set up and it is one thing that I recommend that every website should be doing. Between my followers on Twitter and people on my newsletter list this message will be seen by over 1000 people without the help of anyone using a search engine.

Thanks to the fine folks over at Aweber for making my life easier.

So I guess I’m the first out of 1000 to post a comment, woo!

I guess I should get away from having to approve comments. I had 200 in the spam comments folder.
